Really liked how user friendly this app was but I really wanted something that would let me have monthly and yearly budgets on different categories. Also it was annoying that every time I edited the budget it would completely restart it.
Wife and I have struggled with communication re budgeting for a long time and the chat feature is brilliant. I love the option for date timeframe because not every one works there budget on the bi monthly or monthly. Schedule so there is more flexibility there.
Do not depend on this app to retain your budget info. Get some paper envelopes instead. I wont be using this app anymore and heres why... I downloaded the latest update. Now the app doesnt recognize my user name and password (and I am entering the correct info) and no option is given for updating or retrieving my password. Now I have no access to the envelopes so I have NO IDEA what money I have left in my budgets. That puts me in a terrible spot now. How much have I spent on groceries this month? I dont know. How much is left in my budget for utilities? I dont know. How much is left in my budget for entertainment? Golly, I dont know. Instead of giving me the option to reset my password, I could start a new account and re-set all of my accounts and hope the same thing doesnt happen again. Should I? Could I? Do I look stupid?
My husband and I recently starting using accountable. The past three months of budgeting have been our most successful. It is easy to use. We can assess our progress at the end of the month. Great app!
My wife and I have been using accountable for a few months now. Yes, it sucked when they came out with their new update that essentially locked us out. However, this is the best budget app on the market. So, Im giving it five stars.
